Piero Piccioni - Il Dio Sotto La Pelle (1972)

A wonderfully different score by the great Piero Piccioni -- filled with loads of bubbling understated grooves on organ, electric piano, and wah wah guitar! The soundtrack has all the sophistication of Piccioni's best work -- but it's also got a mellow moody groove that's just great. As usual, the whole thing's extremely well packaged and reissued by the folks at Easy Tempo -- with a set of 20 tracks that includes "Katmandu", "Starless Sky", "Inventions", "It's Possible", "Nights To Come", "New Ways To Live", and "Love Will Find A Way".

1st ripped by this man over here at Un Salotto Borghese
After i found this on his page, i had to search for this LP and finally found it in Munich for a real nice price. So check it out before it´s gone. I love that album!

The Peter Thomas Sound Orchestra - OST Chariots of the Gods? (1970)

Welcome back Ladies & Gentleman after a long time!

I´ll start the new round with the LP version of The Peter Thomas Sound Orchestra's magnificent Chariots of the Gods? soundtrack - the music from German director Harald Reinl's 1970 movie documentary (AKA Erinnerungen an die Zukunft) based on Erich von Däniken's 1968 best selling book of the same name.

Peter Thomas's exciting Chariots of the Gods? soundtrack combines magnificent orchestral themes with the jazzy, rhythmic touch - so typical for the composer. The track "Stars and Rockets" has become a cult favourite amongst rare groove DJs around the world.

Enjoy that wonderful piece of music! cheerz
